Pioneer Weekend!!

This weekend Dallin and I went to Provo to visit Katie and Nate. Katie and my birthday's are two days apart (my brother Cory and Katie have the same birthdays... also her twin and a child that i work with).
We had a hard time leaving... we woke up late... at the time we should have been there... but we made a two and half hour trip an hour and an half long. We BBQ with Katie and Nate and then went to see the new Harry Potter movie. Then walked to the best ice cream place ever!! (next to bluebell).

We also saw Kelli! I LOVE HER!! (she was suppose to go to the ice cream place with us!)

Then we went and hung out with our friends, Tim and Audra. (Tim and Dallin served together on their missions.) We went to lunch and then Dallin and Tim went to shoot guns while Audra and I went shopping!! Then we met up for a movie.
It was a fun weekend!!

Independence Day

I know its late but....
On July fourth, we went out with our friends to watch the fireworks. Our friend, Scott, drives a tow truck, so we parked it and sat out on the truck bed. Then we went to cruise Main Street.

Dallin and I decided that we should start taking walks together after work.... of course our first try and it had to pour on us!! We should have known with the clouds and the sprinkling but we were hopeful.
Then it opened up! Unfortunately, Dallin was determined. We get down the street and we are soaked and freezing, but Dallin wanted to keep going.... so we did. We were going to go to the corner store four blocks away but as we round the corner it starts to HAIL!!
Its hailing and raining but its not to bad because the hail is small but we decide to just walk around the block and its a good idea because the hail gets bigger!! They are the size of a penny and they really really hurt!!
A nice couple pulled over to offer us a ride but we felt that we had made it so far we didnt want to give up. Also we were stupid enough to voluntarily go for a stroll and so we should pay the price, and we were really wet and they had a really nice car.
Well we made it home. We survived. Plus gave us something to blog about... All in all we actually had fun and made a good memory.

One Year... Eternity More To Go!

Sunday, May 31, 2009, marked the one year anniversary of our marriage. We just did the normal Sunday things. We went to church, my visiting teachers came over, and we went to Dallin's parents' house. Then we came home and had year old cake and "champagne" aka Martinelli's. We plan to go out this weekend so that we can celebrate more!!

I'm 24 and old. That much closer to death.

My Birthday happened to fall on Memorial Day so we got a nice long weekend to celebrate.
Our weekend started out with the Wolverine movie on Friday... AWSOME! Saturday we had the traditional Dallin/Kendell Day (because our birthdays fall on the same day we celebrate together). We had dutch oven chicken fajitas and cake. Sunday we went to my parent's home to celebrate with the family. My sisters and brother-in-law got me a wicked sick folding butt stock for my shotgun. Monday, on my actual birthday, we went fishing and to see Night at the Museum 2. Loryn got me a desk for my computer, sweet LSU gear and Canes t-shirt.

Louisiana Trip!!

Just got back from Louisiana. I had so much fun seeing my family and friends. We need to go more often!! (SHOUT OUT) I got to hang out with my brothers, sisters, dad, Wendy, and Sierra and my extended family, my Aunt Lora, Uncle Trey, my cousins Lindsey and Leyna and my Grandma and Grandpa!!

The best thing about being home in the south is the food... I got to eat CRAWFISH (ANOTHER SHOUT OUT) Thank you so much Uncle Trey and Aunt Lora the crawfish was much needed and tasted AMAZING!!. I also got to get Raising Canes and BlueBell icecream... AWSOME!!
I went to see my friend Meagan and her new home, dog and baby bump!! Sorry i didn't see you Ken.. I'll see you and meet your baby boy at Christmas!

Sierra and I went to the French Market in New Orleans. We both got to haggle with the sellers there and get new purses and cool stuff. She took me all over and I got to meet her boyfriend. They are really cute together.

I'm already home sick so I can't wait till Dallin and I both get to go to La for Christmas. He didn't get to got this time and he really misses Louisiana too.

Well today I finished my psych tests and now I wait for the results, hopefully they find something otherwise I'm screwed!!!
